Oh. . . right . . . there’s also the small matter of the country’s most popular daytime talk show host in on it. Ellen DeGeneres just launched her program.

I spend every day talking with small business owners in nearly every vertical. In many cases I walk in off the street, eventually get to the decision maker, and then start a conversation. A lot of people also (happily!) recommend us. We work with everyone from bar & restaurant owners to fitness facilities, chiropractors, nutritionists, retail establishments of all kinds. . .the list goes on. These are the folks who need marketing services (and education) the most. . and (usually) they’re most receptive and appreciative. (Especially after our recommendations start producting!)

The world of online marketing can be murky, especially for small business owners who have not been introduced to it until recently. With all the metrics, jargon, trends, and other ‘noise,’ it’s easy to get caught up in it all.
At Local Mobile Marketing Solutions, we aim to demystify marketing for the small business owner. There’s absolutely no need to be confused, flummoxed, dazed, or overwhelmed by “all this marketing stuff” (a phrase we heard when speaking with a bar owner.) Yes, it could get overwhelming if you try to do it all at once, but that only sets you up for failure and puts you back into the same hamster wheel you’re trying to get off in the first place.

Local Mobile Marketing Solutions started out like many other small businesses—with someone at the helm whose passion it is to help others succeed.
David’s Journey
Our Principal, David Ganulin, has over 20 years of experience in marketing, including everything from being a Marketing Director for a non-profit, to working in email marketing with a top tier B-to-B industry firm, to social media, SMS marketing, and more.
Early on, David majored in secondary English education and continued on for a Master’s Degree in Teaching, Curriculum, and Development from the University of Rochester. After that, he spent six years in Japan. When he returned to NYC in 2002, he became the Fitness and Outdoors editor at a (now defunct) dot com and ended up a “dot-com casualty” like everyone else in the early 90's! (Now THAT was a nice welcome back to America!) Shortly after, David established the business to business company, KettleBell Concepts, which marked the beginning of his marketing career.

Unlike many other marketing agencies, we don’t merely offer you services, expect you to pay for them, and walk away. We also integrate another, extremely important element: Education. We know how valuable it will be for you to learn more about marketing, so we take it upon ourselves to make it a priority.
As a former English professor, our principal, David Ganulin, has always taken a “consultative” approach to whatever it is we’re doing. That holds especially true when it comes to working with a business on their marketing programs.
We stay on top of the latest information and trends in the marketing industry. We subscribe to several trade journals, blogs, white papers, and other resources you probably don’t know about. Even if these things would probably (ok . . . no . . . definitely!) make any normal person’s eyes glaze over, we know the value they can bring to a customer’s marketing strategy.

1. We speak human.
If you want, or if you’re impressed by hifalutin marketing jargon, we’re happy to break out terms like “brand equity,” “mousetrapping,” “split testing,” “usability,” being “on message,” and several others. Just to be clear, though, those aren’t necessarily going to help you understand how we can help you get more people in the door to help you make more money.
2. We’re reasonable.
Your marketing is not something that should be casually handed over to an inexperienced employee. This is YOUR brand and in a small business, it’s the owner or manager’s job to market the business—and we’ll gladly help you out with that responsibility. We won’t give away years of proven, demonstrable expertise for pennies on the dollar, but we certainly won’t gouge you on prices, either. If you want to work with us and it’s a good fit, we’ll absolutely find a way to make it happen.
